Up for auction is a 1998 BMW R1100RT. This bike has been 100% adult riden and has been properly maintained. The bike has slightly less than 55,000 miles on it. It has ABS, braided brake lines, and Throttle Meister. In addition, it has heated grips for the cooler night rides. The bike comes with the hard bags, a RKA tank bag, and good tires. As stated, this bike was adult ridden and never abused. I have owned the bike for a long time now and I am ready for change. The bike is in very good condition with few defects. They are as follows: The fuel guage stops at four bars, however the low fuel light still comes on at the correct time. There is a very small blemish on the seat (see the pictures). There is a small hair line crack near the side panel screw hole. This is very small. Finally, the tab on one of the hard bags is broken, so that bag does not lock. It closes fine, but will not lock. Other than these few items, the bike is in great shape. It looks very good and runs strong. If you have any questions, or would like any additional pictures, please do not hesitate to contact me. The actual color of the bike is Glacier Green. To me the bike appears silver with a very slight green tone to it. Sorry for any mix up this may have caused.
