Beautiful chrome.  Glass is all original. All five wheels are date stamped 10/72 (October 1972) and are in excellent condition with four original Phantom Grey colour matched wheel covers. Original Continental TT spare tire. New whitewall tires (correct original size). Original cardboard tag attached to the radiator indicating that antifreeze had been added at the factory dated 11-4-1972 is still attached!   This Mercedes-Benz had seat covers, floor mats, steering wheel cover and carpet covering the trunk mat since new. Seats, carpeting, door panels, headliner, dash – entire interior shows extremely nice – shows as new.  No cracks in dash.  Never smoked in. Ash trays and lighter are virgin.   Overall presentation is gorgeous.  Included with the car is the original tool kit (never used still in original plastic bag), jack and owners manual.  The grey lacquer paint is very presentable showing normal lacquer aging marks.  The red tex interior is stunning.  Chassis is rust free.  It is truly beautiful.   All factory original keys including: 2 Huf master keys (doors, trunk, glove box, ignition), 1 Huf valet attendant key (door, ignition), 3 YMOS factory locking gas cap keys, and 1 WISI factory retractable antenna key (manual).   This 220D is destined to continue to grow in value.  Hopefully the above details together with the 24 photos provides you with a good overall view of the car’s condition.  The Mercedes has a valid Pennsylvania title and is sold as is where is with no written or implied warranty.   Please email with any questions before bidding.  Serious bidders are encouraged to view the vehicle located at my shop in Reading, Pennsylvania 19601, USA.  If interested, call Fred + 1 610 796 1446 eastern time.  Ebay members with less than 5 positive feedback must communicate with us before bidding.  Very reasonable reserve.   Payment terms: $500 PayPal deposit within 24 hours of auction end.   Balance via bank wire transfer.   Full payment must be received within 7 calendar days of end of auction.   Shipping arrangements are the full responsibility of the auction winner.  Delivery possible by seller within Mid-Atlantic region at agreed upon rate (within 8 hour drive of Reading, PA 19601) including to international shipping agents located in New York or New Jersey.
