Vehicle Detail
Automatic, 4 cylinder diesel, with a professionally installed Grease-Car kit (valued at $1,130), mounted in the spare tire carrier compartment of the trunk … does not impede the storage of the trunk. Purchased from owner in Denver, CO in September of 2006 – your perfect “little old lady” car – under wraps in garage! Bought with 78,000 original miles, now boasts 138,000 miles … for a Mercedes Benz, she’s just gettin’ started! Many updates have been made and include new brakes, calipers, water pump, glow plugs, starter, diesel primer pump, master cylinder, and timing chain tension. A/C was working great, but air isn't blowing so cold anymore - with a charge I'm sure it would blow cold again. We have all maintenance records on file. Her interior is mint – we have sheep’s skin covers on both front seats and aside from a couple minor rust spots by wheel wells, the exterior looks fantastic. Either run it on diesel or veggie oil .... with the price of gas rising, here’s your alternative! There's a tank for regular diesel fuel, for starting the car, and a second tank for the vegetable oil. Once the engine coolant is at operating temperature, you literally flip the switch on the dash and you’re driving on veggie oil … you feel NO difference in power whatsoever. When you’re ready to turn off the car, simply shut off the oil switch and shut her down … it’s that easy! So, non-polluting fuel, and great for the environment. We got our vegetable oil from local restaurants, actually even obtained a relationship with our home-town Chinese place -- and they'd just set out their gallons at the end of the week. You can set up your own filtering system at home to clean the oil, then it goes directly in the reserve tank. Lots of research and information online - just google grease car!
