Just traded in by a local doctor, this 1983 Mercedes diesel may just be nicest, most original 240D in the country. This turbo diesel sports only 107k actual miles plus it's original paint,which still looks new! Original wheels & hubcaps plus almost new Michelins are intact. Interior is remarkable and shows no wear whatsoever. The woodwork is not even showing any cracking. The carpets are like new and factory carpet mats are included. I have yet to find anything that does not work properly.The sunroof glides smoothly and quietly, as it should. The AC is cold. The car still carries it's original dated windshield, plus books and the original first aid kit which appears to have never been opened.The original spare has never been down! These motors are almost bulletproof, with many approaching a million miles. In these days of rising fuel costs,this Mercedes will cruise at 30+ MPG!
