You are looking at my baby! A 1999 full electric conversion S-10 Stepside Pickup with less than 100k total miles on it. I purchased this truck two years ago with the intent of building a full electric conversion. Over the course of the last couple years, I have done just that. Family demands (elderly parent care) require me to liquidate some things. I'm going to be real sorry to see her go. The original 4 cylinder power plant was removed and replaced with an Advance electric 144vdc motor. I have more than 14 thousand dollars invested. It has been seen at local shows. It has fresh paint, stepside bed (no rust!), and all new electric components. Power is stored in 24 6volt utility batteries in the bed. The bed is designed to lift with electric actuators to give access to the (yet to be built) under bed battery boxes. I will expect $750.00 down within 5 days, the rest at time of pickup, or before your shipper comes to get it. This is being sold as is, it is an owner converted truck. If you are looking at this, I expect you to be aware of the trials of such a project, as well as the ability to work with high voltage and amperage. Did you ever accidentally cross the terminals of your 12v battery to ground - welds tings right up! Please Note: This is 144 volts at over 600 amps -12 times the power and sparks! I will include a set of insulated wrenches as well as a rubberized work blanket for your safety. I also have several hundred dollars of additional parts - speed sensor computer, fuses, electrical boxes, terminals - it all goes with it. And literature! Several books about designing and building EV's, wiring diagrams for the S-10 and the factory manual to boot! I can deliver this truck to you within 200 miles at a cost of $150.00 plus 2.50 per mile. This truck drives, and is 97% complete. Install speedo computer (included) and build battery boxes and you're home. I figured on upgrading the battery (current connecting straps) but the copper straps as installed are working good. If you are interested, bid. If you bid, bid to win.
