1997 Ford Ranger XLT 2.3 Ltr 5 speed Great on gas...at $3.99 a gallon this truck makes sense. 92,100 Original miles I bought this truck from a former neighbor he was the 2nd owner of it. I bought it to save on gas because at the time I drove a fullsize GMC truck but he lost the title and by the time he got the new title I already had a gas saver...so now I have no use for this truck. If I didnt need 4 doors believe me I would be selling the car and keeping this truck! I've owned 6 of these rangers and you just cant beat them......great gas milage and they run forever...I had one that was at 320,xxx miles and ran awesome when I sold it. I want to be honest about this truck so I'll do my best to list all of its faults. The exhaust is just a little louder then stock...not loud but louder...its not bad but i can hear it. Has a small rust spot on the tailgate (Look at pics) The center console doesnt stay closed. Drivers side shackle bracket is rusted...I have a brand new one that goes with it or I will change it if needed. The Exterior is to me a 8 out of 10. Same with the interior a strong 8 out of 10 ONLY because the carpets could use some cleaning....The seats are in great shape and no rips or tears! Id drive this truck anywhere. I dont really want to get rid of it but also dont want to title it and insure a vehicle that I really dont need.
