Vehicle Detail
What we have here is what appears to be a complete 1928/29 Model A Ford Chassis. The story is that someone bought it from a museum, removed the body for a hot rod, and this is what is left. I can believe that it may have come from a museum, because of how clean it is. No heavy dirt, grease or oil around the engine, engine pan, transmission, differential or backing plates of the wheel drums. I found and added some bumpers, but they will need to be recromed. The radiator appears to be good, but the shell will also need recromed. It even has the bracket for a left hand wheel well tire and rim. What you see is what you get. The only thing that really shows any major ware, is the steering wheel, which is all cracked and pieces are missing, but I have a replacement for it, that appears to be in pretty good shape. If you have a body, or planning on building a speedster, this is the perfect chassis for you. I would prefer that it be picked up locally, and could possibly deliver for a price, if it's not too far, but if you want to arrange for a transporation company to pick it up, I can assist with the loading. An International buyer will have to arrange for a shipping company to pick it up. Sold with bill of sell only. If you have any questions or need additional photo's, please contact me. On Apr-15-11 at 09:33:50 PDT, seller added the following information: I checked the engine, and from what I can see, it looks like the engine is #1014308. I didn't see any letter proceeding the number, but that's not to say it wasn't there? Provided for anyone wishing to research. Thanks
