This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION. Please bid only if you have the funds avalible and make payment in full within 5 days of auction end. I take ebay and my ratings as a seller seriously, I will do my best to describe my Fury the best I can. Auction ends Monday at 750pm eastern time. 1968 FURY III in beautiful origional condition. Everything is origional but the engine and transmission. It does not have any rust on it other than some specs of surface rust here and there on the suspention and underbody as you can see in the pictures. The undercarrige is 99.9% rust free and clean but could use a good power washing to reallly make it shine. It does have it's share of blemishes showing it's a 45 year old age but not many. Please see the pictures. I have more pictures but can only upload 24 here. Just ask for more pictures. I do have the contact info for the previous owners, supplied with the final sale of the car. The Fury was a Arizona car and brought to Michigan. It has been in storage for the last 7/8 years. I have changed the oil and fluids and have been cruising it up and down Woodward Avenue here in metro Detroit Michigan. The car is for sale locally and your welcome to meet up and check it out. Other wise please see pics for condition. It has air conditioning (currently needs charge), dark green bucket seats, 15" rally wheels, center console with tach, power steering and power brakes and more in simply amazing origional condition. It has a few engine modifications: Edlebrock intake and carb, Malory igition, Accell super coil, direct connet fan. It is a 1969 440E block and heads from a police interceptor completely rebuilt and bored 90 over. Rotating assembly is stock but cleaned up. It was orgionally built and installed by the 2nd owner (now about 70 years old) with a M1 manifold and a 750 carb and said it would run high 12s to low 13s second quarters before he sold it. The 3rd owner unfortunatly replaced the cam, intake and carb for the current edelbrock/comp cam set up in favor of a more streetable feel for a non race oriented driver. It does starts right up on the first turn and idles excellent after about 10 seconds. It does not smoke or leak any fluids. Body is in in exceptional condition. No major dents or dings. It has cherry bombs and sounds mean. Starts, runs, accelerates, drives and stops great. It has pleny of power at the pedal and has no problem ferousously spinning the new 245/60 goodyear eagles shooting the car sideways. I will add video of the car as soon as I can upload it to youtube and ad the link here. The suspension is tight and smooth and shifts with no issues as expected. All the id tags are under the hood on the fender. The Washer bottle broken, front bumper dented and a couple dings in the hood, Driver mirror is missing. tach radio and heater fan is inop since being removed from storage (have not even attempted to repair). Needs truck lock cylinder. These are all minor issues in my opinion... Gets lots of mopar guys attention. These pics just do not do justice really. This is a real Mopar. If it's anything less than what I describe it as when you arrive to pick it up, You dont have to buy it. It is a turn-key reliable and dependable daily driver despite a few blemishes. I will even offer to drive it to the winning bidders location for the cost of gas and my plane ticket home if you want to pay for it, but shipping will probably be cheaper as it gets about 10-12 mpg and a plane ticket will be at least 3-400. Feel free to call me at 248.890.2504 to set up a time to see the car. Thanks for looking. On Apr-12-11 at 12:04:41 PDT, seller added the following information: On Apr-13-11 at 04:02:06 PDT, seller added the following information: Please let me add that Detroit Vintage Wheels is a side work company I started to sell vintage and oem wheels restored to show winning condition. It is my 1 man company, I do not have any employees. Detroit Vintage Wheels is not a car dealership or restoration/body shop. I am just using this ebay ID to sell the Fury. This is also a No Reserve auction, I do not have a buy it now price or a price in mind to "end the auction". Please bid to own it. I must sell the car to pay bills so please do not bid if you do not have the funds to pay for it at the end of the auction. I truely just dont have the time to waist attempting to try to sell it privately and deal with people who want to talk about thier car they once owned and thier story and debate about what it's worth. It appraised high but appraisals dont really mean anything, its worth as miuch as someone will pay for it. so i here it is for auction, highest bidder gets it. You are welcome call me with any questions. Thanks a lot. On Apr-14-11 at 07:51:13 PDT, seller added the following information: On Apr-14-11 at 08:00:11 PDT, seller added the following information: Please make note that my Fury was purchased in Arizona in 2006 and driven for about 3 weeks twice a years while I would be working in the Tempe Arizona area. After that the car has remained in storage until recently having it shipped to Michigan. I couldnt pass the car up when I saw it for sale and have slowly really fell in love it. It has some of the greatest design cues such as the side marker lights, interior lighting locations, center console shifter and door panel pattern design - the whole interior is great in my opinion. Thats all, thanks. On Apr-14-11 at 13:20:43 PDT, seller added the following information: On Apr-14-11 at 13:26:57 PDT, seller added the following information: Additionaly, when I stated that it starts up and idles perfect after about 10 seconds, that is when it's started from cold. When warm, it cracks about 2 seconds and idles perfect immediately. On Apr-16-11 at 14:24:36 PDT, seller added the following information: On Apr-17-11 at 07:52:17 PDT, seller added the following information: DARN PHOTO BUCKET!On Apr-17-11 at 08:17:09 PDT, seller added the following information: On Apr-18-11 at 00:08:22 PDT, seller added the following information: Please do not message me asking how much to buy it now or how much I am looking to get for the fury. I like ebay and will not end the auction early. I tried that twice previously only to have the person not be able to come up with funds. Done with that...now the highest bid owns it next. Thanks and I hope this helps...and please do not bid if you do not have the funds immediately available to pay by the weeks end on Friday.
