This car is road worthy, runs very smooth and transmission shifts well with no grinding. This car was originally purchased in Houston and it comes with ALL of the history from ALL of the previous owners including the original sticker and owner?s maintenance book. By reviewing the receipts this car has been in Texas its whole life. It appears that this car has sat during certain windows of time with the last ?parked? time frame in the early part of this decade (from 2002 thru 2008). The following have been accomplished since I bought it in February/2008: - New high-torque, gear reduction starter - Rebuilt Stromberg carburetors - New alternator and main belt - AC Fuel pump rebuilt - New battery - New tachometer cable - Valve cover gasket - Rebuilt brake cylinder - New front brake pads and rotors were turned - New master and slave clutch cylinders - New factory-specified dual exhaust system - Several lights/light kits have been replaced - New seat foam kits and rubber diaphragms. Metal frames were stripped and re-coated - New seat belts - New seat slide tracks - New stereo (AM/FM, CD, MP3) and 6.5? speakers (interior back panel replaced) and remote control - New Robbins convertible top, zippered window, frame rebuilt and re-painted - New weatherstripping on the convertible top system - Has the black tonneau and black boot. These are very good condition. Has a full car cover/case. - New gearbox tunnel cover (heavy-duty precision-molded plastic) - All gauges work - New sun visors - New trunk trim board kit - New window cranks - New shift knob New parts not installed: - Oil pan gasket - Spare seat diaphragm Existing conditions: - Lucas wiring harness is all original and has NO modifications/work-arounds. All electrical switches, relays and lights are working, some have been replaced - Tune up, oil and filter changes, new air filters. This car has the spin-on oil filter adapter kit - Steel wheels are freshly painted - All door/trunk/glove box locks work and have all keys Issues: The floor boards have rust holes. It needs carpet. The wood dash wood, crash pads, weatherstripping around the doors and window seals appear to be original. This is the original paint.
