Why do you people bid if your not going to buy? If you bid contact me first if not the bid will be cancelled, also for those of you looking to ship the car, it will cost approximately $1000 so figure that in when you purchase and as it says below you will be responsible for picking up or having this vehicle shipped. That being said good luck bidding, the reserve price very low and just the parts alone are worth it even if the car were not running. This car does run though, but still needs someone with mechanical skills to get into top running shape. Here are the issues I have with the car. First needs rear brakes, you can either replace or decide to go with upgraded disks, I would go disk. Next work on getting the overheating problem taken care of which could be solved in a number of ways is what I'm told. Either get a larger reservior, cut holes in fender walls to desipate heat, or go to a 4 core radiator, its 3 core right now. Fuel gauge does not work, i'm thinking its the sending unit in the back. Horn does not work, I can't figure out how to hook it up properly, Speedo is off by 10mph at low speeds and 20 when you get higher, you would need to change out the plastic gear ratio's in the tranny, unfortunately for that you have to pull the engine I believe to get to the back one. I was looking at the rack and pion steering and I would get that rebuilt. Also for some reason that I can't firgure out is when the car is coming down a hill and your car is reving down the engine light pops on and you can smell exhaust. After you shut it off and turn it back on the light goes off then. When you first start the car it takes away a few cranks to get her going but after that it starts right up. Never figured out why it does that. Thats about all I can think of when it comes to driving stuff. As far as cosmitics pretty much what I mentioned. Oh yeah one of the door handles need to be replaced. I think that pretty much covers it. I was also thinking about just pulling the engine and putting her back to stock, but I really don't think I could go back, it just wouldn't be the same without the horsepower. For those that don't know why I am selling her, I moved to Vegas and the smog emission out here are too strict and I could not register the vehicle. So now here I am with a vehicle that I have put over $12,000 into throughout the years and I must sell it because it does me no good sitting in my driveway. Also when I was driving her back in SD I would get approximately 30 MPG on the highway. This car will be offered at a very low reserve and highest bidder wins!! $700 deposit at auction close and full payment within 5 days. You will be responsible for picking up the vehicle or having it shipped. This Vehicle Sells As Is! THE GOOD Engine 3.4L had 107,000 on it when I purchased it from salvage yard does not burn oil or smoke-Pulled from 1994 Chevy Camero T-5 Maual Transmission 5 speed- Out of Chevy S-10 3 Core radiator Converted smaller front disk brakes to larger front disk brakes- From 1991 240 Volvo 17" wheels all around- Fit perfectly under car with no rubbing Electric windows replaced headlight wiring Leather seats from Pontiac Fiero Dash restrored no cracks- professionally done by JustDashes Interior redone to include new carpet and headliner All Window rubber replaced- Opel GT Source Sony XPlod speakers with CD Blaupunkt stereo and Amplifier Spoiler on back RPM gauge modified for V6 engine Lenk steering wheel All new light lenses from Opel Source in California THE BAD This car will over heat in high temperatures, was looking into a larger reserve tank and possibly going to a 4 core radiator Needs new rear brakes, was looking into coverting to rear disks so I have not done anything to them fuel tank sender does not work, more then likely needs sending unit in tank replaced when replaced steering wheel could not figure out how to hook up horn Window washer sprayer not hooked up, was looking into electric sprayer THE UGLY When I trailed the car to Vegas it got damaged from unloading, puncture can be seen in side and rear spoiler paint cracked plus underneath skid pan dented.
