Selling my 1964½ Mustang Coupe project car. Bought the car when it was assembled and drove it a bit before taking it apart to restore, at the moment do not have the time or money to continue the work on it. The vin for it is 5F07D166940. It is a D code car which means it was a 4 barrel 289 engine from the factory. I believe it to be the original engine since it is still a 5 bolt bellhousing 289 block and has the orginal cast iron 4 barrel manifold on itm I cannot however 100% guarentee it. The engine ran great when I pulled it out a few years ago and has been on a stand ever since. The cars interior is removed and a floor pan on the passanger side has been welded in for the most part. It has rust on the rear quarters and other spots and will need full restoration and alot of time and attention. The passanger side rear frame rail under the trunk is slightly bent at the end and a new one would need welded in. The doors and hood are in great shape. I drove the car around and it was a very solid driver before I disassemled it. I will also include the new rearquarters and other various body pieces I purchased for this to the buyer. Basically as the car sits it has been completally disassembled some of the parts were disgarded due to needing to be replaced but it will make a good project car or if you need a ton of good parts for another resto project this would be it. Again this is a major project care that needs alot of rust repair and cosmetic work but has alot of good salvage parts and I believe it can be made into a good ride again. Also the accessorys for the engine are all there .. generator, powersteering, some kind of smog pump. The generator and powersteering worked when it was all in one piece still.
