Up for auction, 91 Mercury Cougar with a 3.8 v6. This car has been sitting for about 10 years. Engine needs rebuilt or replaced. Some coolant was leaking from tailpipe and running rough when parked. suspect head gaskets and cylinder walls. A lot of clear coat has peeled off the paint, you can see it in the pics real well. Very few dents, you can see in pics only on right side. Some surface corrosion on doors, rockers and roof. The ignition switch is broken with the key in it. I could not get it to crank with the switch this way but you can turn the wheel. Interior is in very good condition. She always had covers on the seats. Speaker covers on doors are loose. Tires will go another 10,000 at least, probably more. There is no battery. Car looks like it is complete. She can not find the paper work for the transmission rebuild, it was done some where around 60,000. AC was converted to R134a and working when parked. Above it says sunroof on listing, I could not remove it, this car does not have one. If you would like to see the car before bidding just call me and we will set it up. The car is still on the trailer so I will deliver 25 miles or less. If farther call me and we will try to work something out. You can pick it up here if you wish.
