Mercury 1956 MERC 4-DOOR WAGON The owner has calculated he will never get to finishing this project so on-the-block she goes. EVERY PART NEEDED TO COMPLETE IT IS THERE.312 Y-BLOCK ENGINE WAS COMPLETELY MACHINED AND REBUILT MERC-O-MATIC AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WAS ALSO REBUILT INCLUDING THE CONVERTER. DUAL EXHAUST WITH STOCK MUFFLERS IS NEW. THE BRAKE SYSTEM HAS ALSO BEEN REBUILT ZERO MILES SINCE THE REBUILDS. THE ONLY RUST ISSUES WERE THE FLOORS AND REAR QUARTERS. ALL WERE REPLACED WITH CORRECT PANELS BY A LOCAL BODY SHOP.NEED TO GET AND HOOK UP THE POWER STEERING PUMP/RESERVOIR. THE RACK ETC IS ALL THERE.ALL THE WIRING HARNESS ARE PRESENT BUT NOT ALL CONNECTIONS HAVE BEEN FINALIZED.ALTHOUGH THE TIRES ARE NOT WORN THEY ARE OLD AND NEED TO BE REPLACED BEFORE DIVING IT.A COUPLE OF WINDOWS HAVE CRACKS. THE WINDSHIELD IS VERY GOOD.THE CURRENT DASH HAS SOME "EXTRA HOLES" BUT THE IS AN EXCELLENT REPLACEMENT THAT GOES WITH THE WAGON (PICTURED SITTING ON THE REAR SEAT).A COUPLE OF ADD-ONS ARE THE SKIRTS AND RARE SUN-VISOR.
