This 1984 Jeep CJ7 is a great car and could be a great project car for a Jeep enthusiast... just needs a little TLC. (Or good for parts if that's what you need). For the bad: I'm not a mechanic, but think that it could probably use a tune-up, a carb adjustment, and a timing adjustment. It has some small oil leaks. The radiator fluid is leaking from the engine block and the water pump looks like it's out. The drivers seat broke on one side, but the seats are interchangeable. As you can see from the pictures, there is some rust damage and it's a little rough around the edges. For the good: The car runs good, could probably run great with some small work. It has had a new crank case cover, rebuilt carb, new oil filter and fuel pump all within the last two years. The original VIN number is listed in this ad, but this car has also been issued a reassignment number of ID 43395 COLO when the car came from New York to Colorado before I purchased it. This has been a great vehicle for me and I would love to keep it and put some work into it, but the family is growing and it just doesn't make sense at this time. Overall, this car is in need of some attention both aesthetically and mechanically, but the engine is strong and could be a gem if someone took a little time with it. This is an as-is sale.
