15,200 original miles!!!! This is one beautiful 1988 Corvette roadster. Only 7407 Corvette convertibles were built in 1988 (32% of total production). Absolutely gorgeous in rare color combination of medium blue metallic (5% of total production) with a matching blue interior and white convertible top. Colors reminiscent of the Nassau blue and Marina blue mid sixties Corvettes that were so popular. It is a two owner (see the auto check report) super low mileage garage kept gem. Everything works. The A/C is cold. The paint shines. The leather and carpets look great. The factory option 17" wheels have been polished. The battery and tires are new. It is powered by a TPI 5.7 (350) Chevy small block (L98 version) and automatic transmission. It runs fantastic and gets over 20 mpg on the highway. The only fault I could find with the car is that the rear convertible window is not as clear as new but not bad enough that I ever considered replacing it. Also there is a 1/4" worn edge where the soft top folds to store (very common with the Corvette convertibles that I have seen). Again, not bad enough that I would consider replacing it. The top functions and looks excellent. This Corvette has almost every option offered on an 88 convertible. Options include: AC1 & AC3 power driver and passenger seats, AR9 leather seats, B4P radiator boost fan, C68 electronic A/C, D74 illuminated driver vanity mirror, DL8 twin remote heated mirrors, FG3 Delco Bilstein shocks, KC4 engine oil cooler, UU8 Delco Bose stereo, VO1 heavy duty radiator, Z52 sport handling package (includes 17” wheels/tires, quick ratio steering). Plus the standard equipment power windows and locks, tilt and telescopic steering, power steering and power 4 wheel disc brakes (ABS). I have all of the glove box manuals and the sales literature but not the window sticker. This Corvette retailed new for over $35k. NADA guides collector car value guide prices this car at just under $15k. C4 Corvettes are currently a bargain considering what you get for your money and are just starting to rise in value. Considering the low mileage, the fact that it’s a convertible (always higher in resale than a coupe) and the rare color combination, this car is a great investment that will appreciate while you enjoy driving it. This is probably one of the lowest mileage C4 Corvette roadsters on ebay. Check out the pictures to see how beautiful this car is but come and see it to really appreciate it.
