Part 3 This is a show car that has nearly everything done to it and everything gone over. It has 27K original Miles. All wheels, Body panels, Interior, Leather, Cooling System, Brake System, Electric System, fuel system have been gone over. I have spent over 41K and countless man hours spent getting this car to be one of the nicest Delorean's avail on the market today. This car was allways kept in a temperature controlled Garage and has only 854 miles since it has been redone. There is no wear on any of the interior/exterior parts. I have owned this car for over 11 years. I am a very meticulous car owner. I try to make things as perfect as possible and this Delorean is no exception. My goal in this delorean was not only to make it look like a new car but also improve on the original 's flaws. The stainless looks better now than it ever did from the factory (re-grained by Chris Nicholson). I purchased the leather seats from the original supplier that had NOS Seats available. All Trim on the interior was either replaced or re-dyed to look as fresh as possible (binnacle replaced with one of the last NOS binnacles available). The entire interior was dissasembled when this work was done as well. The entire color scheme is very nice since it has a two tone interior. (Gray + Black) All Factory speakers were replaced with JBL's. The radio was replaced with a pioneer radio that I had re-branded to look like a DMC branded radio. The original radio is included with the car. The body was rebrushed by Chris Nicholson of PJ Grady Europe. Any ding, scratch or ripple was removed at this time as well. Chris is a stainless steel master and makes these deloreans look like a piece of art! He is a true Artist! The body on this delorean looks like no other Delorean you have ever seen. Its like owning piece of jewelry. The wheels were also purchased NOS from DMC houston. There is not a scratch on them. The front and rear fascias were also repainted using the factory paint codes. There is one small paint chip on the rear fascia (As seen in photos). The DMC Houston Ground Effects Kit was also added along with custom Fiberglass Air Intakes that are active like the original. All those additions are simple bolt on additions. They can be removed very easily if the owner wanted a more original design. The engine runs and looks beatifull. There was some extensive work done on this car when it was first purchased. When purchased this car was not a car that sat unused (unlike most deloreans) so there was no problems with the fuel system etc.. However the entire cooling system (hoses, water pump, fanzilla, seals,etc..) were gone over along with the fuel system (injectors, fuel tank, fuel lines, Acummulator, etc) . All the rubber hoses under the engine manifold were also replaced with new poly hoses to prevent having to do the work again. A compression test on the motor revealed great numbers matching close on all cylinders. The engine starts, idles and runs very nice and smooth. (Fuel Mixture set properly) does not hunt like most deloreans. The 5 Speed Transmission also shifts smoothly and shifts into gear with ease. The clutch was also replaced when first purchased. The engine was then meticously detailed. All bolts were replaced with stainless bolts. Stainless Throttle cover + Coolant Bottle were added. The engine was then cleaned and valve covers + Manifold +brackets were removed and powder coated. The air filter cleaner was removed, painted polished and clear-coated. All engine compartment stickers were also then replaced. All four brakes were also all rebuilt along with a stainless steel clutch line to prevent swelling like the original plastic line. The frame and underbody is all in good condition with no significant rust. There is some slight surface rust in some areas of the frame that can be cleaned up where the epoxy has chipped off. My goal was to someday detail the entire underbody but time and other interests have taken me away from that. I have been the proud owner of this Delorean for the past 11 years. I have never had a serous issue with the car and have put around 5200 miles on it since I have purchased it. I have loved this car more than anything since I have owned it. I have spend countless hours working on this car and tried to make it as perfect as possible. I have also went on a few 100-300 mile trips with my Delorean with no issues. It hurts me to sell this car since it has meant so much to me over the years but the time has come for me to sell this car. Over the past few years I have added a few more cars to my collection and have not given this Delorean the attention that is deserves. I decided that I would like to sell the car so I can give someone who really loves the car a chance to own and drive there dream just as I have. I have done almost everything needed to this car and all that remains is some little things. As with any Classic Car, there needs to be maintenence done to keep them happy. This car is no different. I have spent over 41K on this Delorean over the years and did most the work myself and through the very kind and friendly Delorean Community. All parts were purchased through PJ Grady and Delorean Houston. The car drives really nice. The engine runs strong and smooth. Transmission shifts through gears nicely as well. It brakes on a dime. Over the years however the steering column bushing seems to have wore down and needs replacement. The part is under 30 dollars. It causes the steering wheel to vibrate sometimes. Other than that the driving experience is amazing. It handles real well and the steering is very tight. The car does not have many miles on it so it drives as it should. This Delorean must be seen to be believed. It doesnt look like any other Delorean and must be seen in person to be appreciated. I am going to try to take as much pictures, video as possible to most accuratly describe this Delorean as best as I can. However please feel free to come take a look a this car in person. It is located in Phoenix AZ. If you have seen any other Deloreans you will appreciate the quality of work that has been done to this car. Please look below at the work that has been done to this car. It looks like the Cage around the steering column is what needs replacing. You can either get the just the cage or the entire column with the cage from DMC Houston for 195.00. That is what has been causing the steering wheel vibration.
