Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a 1998 Honda Super Hawk in excellent condition. If you have never been on one of these bikes, you are truly missing out. This bike is a 1000cc V-Twin with more power than you'll ever know what to do with. The bike has a few add-ons including - Two Brothers exhaust, and frame sliders. The rear fender has been eliminated and I took off the windscreen and painted it black when I purchased the bike, as shown in the photos. I just put the rear tire on the bike at the end of last season and have probably put 50 miles on it. The front tire still has good tread but may want to be replaced, just due to age. Every component of the bike works flawlessly. The plastics are beautiful and the only flaw that I can think of is the darkening of the exhaust pipes under the bike (As shown in the photos). I expect that from the stainless steel and the Two Brothers pipes look so much better than the stock black pipes. But remember, this is a thirteen year old bike. I cannot really describe every little nick. As I stated though - This bike is beautiful! No one can believe that this bike is that old. I will include with the bike a genuine Honda Racing jacket and Honda gloves. The jacket is a 3XL (I got it big so that I could wear a backpack under it while I ride up to college) and the gloves are large. They are shown in the pictures below. I purchased the bike when I became a RiderCoach for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation at our local community college. The bike has always been taken very good care of and to my knowledge, has never been down. It is parked inside my garage year round and is covered with a motorcycle cover to keep the dust off. Since I've owned it, it has never seen any sort of weather. The battery is hooked up to a battery tender in the cold months and has not been an issue. The only reason that I'm even considering getting rid of the bike is to finish paying for my last year of college so that I don't saddle my family with more debt. The wife thinks I'm crazy and my kids love the bike. I can tell you right here that I've set a reserve price at $3000. I don't need to get rid of the bike that bad by just giving it away. Please feel free to ask any questions. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the person that purchases the bike. I can help by getting it to a shipping company or could meet you at a reasonable distance. I have no intention of selling it to an international customer, U.S. only. Check out my feedback. I strive to maintain a positive experience and I hope that you will also.
