Up for sale is a Clean 1981 Chevrolet Malibu Wagon Cruiser. This car was built eight years ago to pull behind a motor home and has 55k easy miles on the build. This car has full power options such as power windows, power locks, power steering, tilt wheel, and Ice Cold A/C. every thing in the car works and would drive anywhere without issues. The body on this car is straight and rust free. It was painted Gold Metallic with Black SS stripes using a Multi Stage Paint system. The car has a steel Cowl hood as Well. The original roof rack was removed at time of paint and has polished plates covering the Luggage mounts. All body gaps are good and doors open and shut as the day this car was driven home from the dealer. There is one paint blemish in the rear about the size of a quarter but hardly noticeable. This car is definitely straight and has no rust. The car rolls on American Racing 17x7 Torque thrust 2’s matched to Nexen 245/45/17’s. The tires have about 1000 miles on them. I put the same size all around so they can be rotated. The car has Hotchkis springs and KYB shocks for a smooth ride on all four corners. All chrome and trim are in excellent condition and the windows have been tinted. I also replaced the factory headlights with HID lights for better vision at night. This car has Disc brakes up front and Drum brakes in rear. This car also has 8.5 10 bolt rear with a 3.42 posi. This car is powered by a 350 .030 over small block that was built when car was put together five years ago. It has flat top pistons, cast crank, Competition hydraulic cam and Holley 4 barrel carb. I put an Accel HEI distributor and MSD 6AL ignition to handle the spark. I kept the stock exhaust manifolds matched with a Flowmaster muffler so the car has a nice tone but does not have any reverb at highway speeds. At the same time a new TH350 automatic transmission was installed and shifts perfectly to this day. The interior has a modern custom look to it. I used bucket seats, console, anddash out of a 85/86 Monte Carlo SS and had them covered in black tweed as well as the factory rear bench seat. The car has black carpet that is in excellent condition. I added an Alpine am/fm/cd player with upgraded speakers and a JL Audio 12 powered by a Kenwood AMP. This car also has keyless entry . To sum up this car it is a reliable, clean, and comfortable car you could drive anywhere. All maintenance is up to date and this car has been well taken care of.
