1965 Chevrolet C-10 Custom V8-Automatic-PS and Air This is the truck we all want. Mechanically excellent, a pleasure to drive, paint is good...buy not so good your afraid to drive and enjoy it. At the 1st cruise night of this year, I had many, many compliments...the ladies thought it was sexy! The restoration was done approximately 9 years ago. The man who restored it was a mechanic for a living and he rebuilt it all so that it drives flawlessly. The transmission and air-conditioning system were completely rebuilt last year. Steering is tight, no rattles, no shakes...Current tags, and would pass a state safety inspection .I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. The paint is good...but not show quality. No apparent rust, as a matter of fact the truck was "Zeibarted" ( franchised rust-proofed) during restoration. The pale yellow color reminds me of "Chevy Crocus Yellow" . The white accent trim compliments it very well. All glass is good, no cracks or cloudiness, windows roll up and down well. All gages work as they should Bed wood has been replaced....but shows wear. The varnish has peeled and the bed strips have scrapes in the paint...don't get me wrong, the bed is solid and in good condition....it's just not show quality. I have two complete sets of tires and wheels. Custom, as whats on the truck now, and original rims and caps with beauty rings mounted on Michelin tires with approx 70% tread.
