I have not touched it other than moving it into storage at that time. · Original dealer was in Colorado so this car has always been in the dry desert air. · Motor is a complete ’65 421 HO and was in the car when the second owner bought it in the 70’s. · The motor turns but has not run since the clutch was blown ~2 years ago. Some wires have been removed from the distributor so I assume there was also an electrical issue. · Rust: o Rear window appears to have been leaking slightly. Trunk floor pan has 3 or 4 slight lines of rust-through in the pan. o Front/right quarter panel has a quarter-size hole in the lower rear. o Rust-through on lower passenger rear quarter o No rust-through on the floor pans (minor surface rust only) o Any other rust is surface only. Very, very little at that. · Dents: front driver’s side fender has a slight crinkle near the front. · Most damage has been interior due to sun and mice. · Overall, the body is in great condition. Very solid and clean. All chrome and trim is present except for one small piece. NOTE: I included a picture that shows the beautiful iris mist color that originally came on this car, since it is so rare. That picture, of course, is NOT the car for sale but shows what this GTO looked like when it was original and what it will look like when your restoration is complete. Legal stuffs: Car is being sold “as is”. I have done my best to represent the car as it is and all that I know about it. If you have any questions, please ask.
