1972 Honda

I will disassemble and ship in 2 or 3 boxes to the lower 48 states ONLY for $250 I have up for auction this 1972??? honda mini trail 50. I took it in on a partial trade this weekend and it would start but thats about it. I gave the carburetor a good cleaning and now it runs really good. The jets were all plugged up. I took a video of it running at in the video it smoked pretty bad. I have been driving it around a bit and it still smokes but not anywhere near as much as it did in the video. I honestly dont know alot about this but I will answer any questions the best I can. The fenders have both been painted and are dinged up a bit. It has new tires and tubes on both the front and rear. Both front and rear brakes work. The headlight assembly is missing and the wires have been cut where they come from the motor but thay are still long enough that they could be spliced back in. I believe the wires that are cut are for the lights. Im not sure if the handlebars are correct or not. Also, the exhaust has been cobbled and isnt the right 1 either. Also, the seat is not original cover but it is in nice shape with no tears. I know this isnt a NICE bike in the collectors eyes but all in all its still pretty descent for being 40 years old. It will make a good start to a restore project or just get a cheap bike for your kids to putz around on. Also great little pitbike. From the little bit I have rode it, I think the smoke might clear itself up. cuz its not close to as bad as it was in the video. The gas tank thats on this is a plastic CLARK tank and that alone cost $200. I am NOT selling the original tank with the bike, BUT if you do want it I will include it for an additional $100. Otherwise I am going to list it seperately. ONCE AGAIN... THE ORIGINAL GAS TANK IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE. IT IS IN NICE SHAPE BUT HAS SOME RUST INSIDE IT THAT LOOKS LIKE IT SHOULD BE AN EASY FIX WITH SOME MURATIC ACID.
