1982 Honda

What is up for auction is my first bike an 1982 Honda CM450E. I bought it used from the original owner in 1996, it now has 7,280 correct miles. This bike has never been dropped or wrecked, it is all original except of course for the tires, they have approx 800 miles on them. The paint is perfect and all chrome still shines all the way down to the chain guard. All maintenance is current. The clear coat on the crankcase started to deterioate " typical for the age " on both sides so it has been buffed up and reclear coated. There is a small one inch tear on the top edge of the passanger part of the seat that can be repaired, just never bothered with it in never bothered me, right now there is patch tape covering it. pictures of tear can be passed on if wanted. Other than that seat is impecable. I am selling this bike and another because i am running out of space in my one car garage and i wanna buy a new bike, so wife says theses must go cuz i can only ride one ata a time. There is NO RUST except for at exhaust to engine mount location, no leaks in exhaust. Spokes still shine and look great. This bike has way more pep than you would ever expect from a 450cc but it is a dual carb. I love this bike and rode it for 3 years till i found a grat deal on an 800cc and i felt i was ready for bigger. You wont be dissapointed in the bike ever.
