up for auction at no reserve is my trusty 2001 F350 superduty srw 2wd. i purchased this truck in 2005 as a lease return. it was not my daily driver but more of a toy hauler weekend use type vehical. i put on a little over 6,000 miles a year on it and its been very reliable and trouble free. (im not really a ford guy so thats saying something). its always had regular oil changes and maintainence. in the last year its had; new rotors and brakes front and rear, new front wheel bearings, new monroe hd shocks all round, new muffler, and rear brake lines replaced (they were rusty). in general its a bare bones work truck compared to todays cushy rigs, but the positives are; its always fired up and ran like top, no known issues. no leaks, doesnt use oil, its a 5.4 automatic with od. heat and AC, radio (nothing fancy) electronic trailer brake, hitch, headace rack with steel support bridge on top, roll over tarp with crank handle, two stowable Oxlite aluminum ramps which fit under the bed (see pictures) these are rated at 1500 lbs. and hook into the lip on the rear of the bed, they are each 12" wide and eight feet long. the bed itself is an 8ft all aluminum Grumman Olsen flat bed and has six heavy duty tie down points in the floor. tires are are siped 75+%, no plugs . just to be clear - this is a work truck not a mall crawler. its in great shape for its age but its not perfect. both lower doors are showing signs of rust, though i cant find any anywhere else in the cab. there are two small slits in the center of the seat. they were there when i bought it and they havent changed a bit in 6 years of use. the rear access door to the ramps has a dink in it from me backing into a peice of angle iron i didnt see. i put a pair of ammo boxes on the sides for additional storage but i never used them, they could use a coat of paint. all in all its a work truck that hasnt seen much work. if it werent for our growing family i wouldnt be selling it. a crew cab is in the works so we dont have to leave anybody behind anymore lol! , ill answer questions when i can, its an as is - where is deal. ive described it as best as i can, youre welcome to come check it out in person, also listed locally, all sales final. thanks for looking.
