What we have today is a 1970 BMW 2002 Series.This is the Roundie favorite of so many BMW Fans.This car was purchased off of an individual who shipped it to Texas from the Washing D.C. area in May of 2008.This little Beauty was born with a sunroof which was a nice option in 1970.This 2002 has air conditioning that works and blows COLD! This Cream Puff has been sitting for a while so it could stand a little tune up to run perfect,but make no mistake about it this puff starts first time every time and idles quiet as a mouse!This little beauty is standing on Michelin MX4 All Season Radials all the way around.This rubber is in like new Condition. This 2002 has been painted.It looks like it was done several years ago but in the intrest of full disclosure it should be said.Interior is in very good shape.Carpets and Upholstery are above average Dash has the normal cracks of a car that is 41 years old.All in All a Truly Great Little Car. There have been a lot of Questions about rust.This is a 41 year old car.Rust is to be expected.Passenger door bottom of inside lip has some rust,passenger door bottom rear corner has some rust,inside of hood passenger side has some rust. Now this is minimal and not an issue unless you are expecting a New Car,if you are then this is not the vehicle for you.If you are familiar with 2002's then you know that these are all water gathering areas and this is to be expected.
