NO RESERVE AUCTION - PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU INTEND TO PURCHASE Up for auction is my 1997 Suburban. This truck has been awesome for us. It is now having engine trouble and we don't have the money or time to fix it. It still starts right up, but makes a VERY loud knocking sound. I have been told that it more than likely needs to be rebuilt or replaced. It has the 7.4 L 454 big block in it and has alot of power. When running properly this thing could pull down a house! The body, frame, and everything else is in very good condition. FLAWS: Engine - obviously needs work, there is a tear in the seam on the driver seat, needs a new light switch (I think it's just a loose wire), has a small power steering fluid leak, missing knob on radio, center console lid is broken, windshield is cracked, minor surface rust on bottoms of doors starting. I think that is all the flaws. If I think of anything else I will add it later. This truck has a lot of life left in it for someone who know how to work on engines. Would make a great vehicle for just about any use. Comfortably seats 8 and still plenty of cargo space. Please feel free to ask questions. According to KBB the value in good running condition is $5100. I know it's going to cost someone some serious cash to fix it so I am starting the auction out at $1500 with NO RESERVE! This is the third time listing it and the last time I will reduce the price. It will need to be towed due to the problems with the motor. Anyone is more than welcome to come check it out prior to bidding. The winner of the auction is to pay a $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit via paypal within 24 hours of auction ending and if you have not checked the vehicle out yourself PRIOR to bidding, you will not be permitted to inspect the vehicle until the deposit is paid.
