The Avalon has been well cared for since we purchased it in 2006. Regularly scheduled maintenece has been performed and it has been garage kept. New tires were put on last year (2010) and the 100000 mile inspection was passed with flying colors. The car was just driven on a mostly interstate trip and maintained 30 MPG the entire trip. In town mileage varies but stays steady in the mid to high 20s. The car is loaded with all the "whistles & bells", heated front seats, reclining rear seats, ample leg room in the front and back seats, pass through to the trunk, rear window retractable shade, tinted windows, an incrediable sound system, a huge trunk and stoagre throughout the vehicle. We would hang on to this vehicle but our nest is begining to empty so we have downsized within the amazing Toyota family. This car would make an excellant family vehicle, a wonderful "first" vehicle or a "gas friendly" alternative to your SUV, as we experienced first hand!
