Vehicle Detail
1972 Honda CB750I have for auction a beautifully restored 1972 Honda CB750. I took it apart down to the frame and rebuilt it complete with many new parts. My restoration included many new parts which are listed below. This restoration did not include rebuilding the engine. I did replace the valve cover and head gasket. I also had the valves adjusted. I had the compression checked and was informed that all four cylinders showed compression to be within normal spec range. I took the carburetors apart, cleaned them, and added new jets and float bowl gaskets. In my opinion the bike runs well, but is not perfect. It does not drip any oil. I see some oil around the right side head gasket. It will smoke here initially as that residue gets burned off. No smoking from the exhaust, however. Parts and Modifications: New: bobbed fenders, custom seat, tail lights, blinkers, tires, Mac exhaust, foot rest rubbers, gas tank seat rubbers, pod air filters, drag bar, cafe racer mirrors, grips, chrome chain and much more. Applied new paint and clear coat. Color is Ford Mustang "Lime Gold". Custom rebuilt gauges to match paint. Many chrome parts, nuts and bolts added. New Dyna S coils and conversion to Dyna S electronic ignition. Valves adjusted, new head gasket, and valve cover gasket. Most aluminum engine pieces and various other aluminum parts have been polished and clear-coated. Rebuilt brakes with new pads front and rear. Front brake master cylinder rebuilt. Front brake lines custom built with chrome parts and braided lines. Installed in-line fuel filters. Other: This motorcycle is very cool and draws alot of attention and conversation anytime I have it out. Since restoration, it has always been stored inside my garage and never seen the rain. Located in Manhattan, KS. Thanks for looking and hope it is the bike you have been looking for. I value positive feedback and desire that you are pleased with your purchase. I have accurately described the condition of this bike and would welcome you to inspect it before purchase. However, if you are the winning bidder I expect payment for the bike as it is. Please do not bid if you do not plan to pay. I will require a $500 deposit via paypal and cash only payment prior to or at the time of pick-up. I have a clear Kansas Antique title in hand.
