For Sale 2005 Ford F-250 Superduty Pickup 6.0L Powerstroke V8 engine – 139,569 miles Supercab XLT – 8’ Bed (Long Bed) 4x4 with FX4 Off-Road Package Dark Toreador Red Metallic Exterior with Dark Flint Cloth Interior I’d like to start off this auction by saying that the only reason that I’m selling it is because it is just too much truck for me. I no longer need a truck of this size/capability. It will be a great truck for anyone that wants/needs a full size 4x4 diesel! Condition The truck is in excellent condition and runs great! It has been serviced recently with all factory oil and fuel filters… not cheap parts store filters. The cooling system was flushed and fresh coolant added during its last service. It has BF Goodrich All Terrain Tires (285/70R17) that have plenty of life left and they have been recently balanced and rotated. A front-end alignment was done 4,000 miles ago and caster and camber adjustment cams were installed. The truck is smooth at highway speeds and tracks prefect. The paint shines like new and the interior is in great condition. Apart from typical rock chips the paint is perfect. The truck is garage kept and washed regularly. Everything works on the truck… it needs nothing but a new home. The truck is due for an oil change, I will have this done prior to the end of auction. The Bulletproof Diesel EGR cooler comes with a lifetime warranty against failure (click here for more info). While the new coolers were being installed, I also had the updated high pressure pump fitting (known as the STC fitting) installed. The factory STC fitting was a quick disconnect style that was prone to failing, which would result in a very costly repair. Ford released a “kit” that included an updated fitting which removed the quick disconnect portion. The oil cooler and STC fitting kits also included new screens and filters for the IPR (Injector Pressure Regulator) and the High Pressure Oil Pump suction inlet. The truck also has a very nice Turbo-back 4” Magnaflow Stainless Steel Exhaust System installed. This system gives the truck a very nice mellow tone (not loud or obnoxious) and help lower your EGTs (Exhaust Gas Temperatures) while towing. Stanadyne Fuel Additive is used with every tank of fuel. This additive helps prevent wear to the fuel system by restoring the lubricity to diesel fuel, which has been drastically reduced because of the new ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel. This additive also has a cetane booster which provides more complete combustion and less soot build-up on the turbo vanes and EGR valve.
