I bought this on a lark last fall, and have had no time to fiddle with it. I bought it from a man in South Bend IN, and he claimed it worked for him. He said it was not very fast because it is a 36 volt system. It comes with an extra 48 volt controller, so it should be able to convert to a higher voltage for more range. I have no idea what it is capable of doing, so please don't ask. I know almost NOTHING about electric vehicles, so if you are reading this ad you probably know more about this car than I do. It has I believe a Curtis controller in it now. Overall it is in good shape with excellent shock towers and little rust. There are 2 small holes(1under right side tail light and the other on left side A pillar). There are some surface rust spots as seen in photos. It has 2 broken door latches and an interior wing vent window latch is broken. All glass is good. The back seats were removed to make room for the battery bank. There are 8 batteries in it. It comes with a charger and some extra parts that I have no idea what they are for. The left front tire has a slow leak. The car is located at 26344 M-60 Mendon MI 49072 and can be viewed at any time. It is now sitting outside. I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE. You are looking at a project or parts car. It is marked 24vdc. I assume this means 24 volt. Therefore any bidder to this point is not obligated to purchase the car because I thought it was 36v. I am sorry for this error. I will let auction continue if someone else continues to bid now knowing it is 24v. This car is NOT ROADWORTHY! It is a project that is not in running condition. I could not get it to move. I have no idea what it is going to take to get it moving. It is not a professional conversion. I strongly suggest you look at it before you bid. Pics are flattering. They never look as good in real life. This is a no reserve auction.
