For Sale is a 1984 Mazda Rx7 **GSL-SE**. This was the top of the line Rx7 for that year that had the larger 13B, 1.3 liter fuel injected engine. Here is an account of the car options and condition: EXTERIOR: Original Black exterior color. Re-painted maybe 8 years ago. No rust on the exterior. The paint job is nice and very shiney. The left front fender ( drivers side ) was pushed in and has indentations. One small chip of the paint came off in this area . The fender has a ripple look at the upper part of the fender. I took a picture of it but it will not show it very well. Frankly , it is not that bad but, it is damaged . No other adjacent panels are damaged at all . The tires are 205/60/r14 Tigerpaw tires. This is the original size tire for this car. The tires are in verty good shape. No unusual wear patterns. I would say the tire have 80% life left on them ( estimate) . The original waffle wheels are true and in excellent shape. The car has the original exhaust system. There are no holes or issues with the exhaust. I added window tint to all of the glass in the car except windshield. I had this professionlly done and paid 150.00 to do it. It is legal tint for North Carolina. This is a great add-on especially due to the fact the car is black and can heat up on the inside of the car rather quick due to the black color. I have noticed the car is not as hot inside the car in summer months. I like it very much....and...it looks better with the darker windows in my opinion. The windshield has a 1-2" crack in the very lower corner of the windshild. It has been there since I owned the car( about 5 yrs) and has never spread. The crack is right where the inspection sticker ususally goes on the drivers side . It has never been an issue and has never gotten worse. But, none the less, it is a crack and you should be aware of it. Full disclosure here. Moon roof: I have both the hard roof and the plexi-glass sun roof. Please note: The hard roof is in excellent shape but it is white. The original hard top was lost. I found a very nice hard top but, it will need to be painted. The plexi-glass see through moon roof is currently installed. Both Tops go with the car. The plex-glass is rather rare and sells on ebay for $200-300. Like I said , it will go with the car. INTERIOR: Leather seats (option for this car): Burgundy interior color. Seats are original and in excellent shape for their age. There is a small tear on the seat bottom cushion on the drivers side seat. Its about 1". It is not major and not torn at a seam . It seems that the seat may have got punctured at one time and it simply spread out about 1". The rest of the seat is great as is the passenger seat. No other rips or anything abnormal. Very nice condition! Leather steering wheel is in good shape as is the leather door panels. The power windows work perfect. The air conditioning was upgraded to the R134a refrigerant. The air works perfect and it keeps the car nice and cool. I have the original car stereo/cassette player but I have installed a AM-FM CD player. It works and sounds great. Power steering( option for this car): This options is very nice, especially for the woman driver and when parking. I have had both the manual steering and power steering . Power steering is a nice option. The power steering works great .No problems. Cruise: The car has cruise control and to be honest, I never used it. The GSL-SE model only comes with the standard/manual transmission. The car shifts great . No issues. The car does not come with any floor mats. I do not have them anymore. The back glass wiper does not work. I frankly don't care as it is not needed. I took the wiper off the car cause I like the cleaner look but....I will put it back on the car when it sells. The car came standard with 4 wheel disc brakes. The brakes are fine and no issues. Overall opinion of the car and general information: I have replaced the oil on a regular basis. It takes 20w50 oil . I replace the oil based on time rather than miles cause I do not drive the car very much. It is kept in the garage but lately, it has been outside under a high grade car cover due to space issues in my garage.This is part of the reason I am selling the car. I hate it sits outside . The transmission and rear end had the oils replaced with redline synthetic oil ( the best) The anti-freeze fluid replaced as well. I have owned the car 5 years and driven the car 4,300 miles . I drove the car on nice days only. The engine compartment is very clean and original. I replaced the battery , battery cables, all fluids ( as I mentioned above). I had the fuel injectors sent out to be cleaned KR parts out of Somerdale NJ. They came back perfect and were re-installed. The door seals are in nice shape. The windshield molding on the car is not chipped up like most of them are. There are a few chips on the front of the car. Over all, the paint job is very nice. There are no major leaks on the car. The oil pan seal looks be leaking a bit but not major. Everytime I drive this car I say I will never sell it. It rides and handles so well. I believe the prior owners loved the car as much as I do. Who ever they are, they took very good care of the car. I do have a car fax and it did not show any collision damage. I will give you a copy of the car fax with the car so you have it. I recently replaced the starter on the car. The car has been tuned up and needs nothing. I have told you everything I know about the car and its condition. I can not think of anything it needs but a good home. I have a lower reserve on this car than I would normally have. I must sell it as I hate it to sit outside.
