I have for sale a HONDA 250 BIG RED 3 wheeler that I purchased on ebay a year ago. I used the machine in my irrigation repair business this fall and winter and discovered that a four wheel drive ATV would work better in the conditions that I worked in. This machine did everything I asked it to do, but just had some trouble in some of the muddiest areas when I had it pulling a trailer. I just recently got offered a 4 wheeler and decided that I would put this up for sale. I would love to keep it as an extra ATV to go out riding with my friends, but I am afraid it would only sit in the shed. This machine needs to be ridden!!! I purchased the machine from a seller in Illinois. I went through and cleaned the carbeurator, changed the spark plug, replaced the battery, and cleaned the air filter. I just recently changed the oil in preparation for the spring season. The condition of the machine physically is the way I purchased it. The machine starts both with the electric start and with the kickstart. It rides smooth and shifts in all gears including reverse. The brakes work and are strong. The lights all work on the dash, the headlight works on low and high beam, and the tail lights work. It has been a good running machine everytime I used it this past fall and winter. The physical drawbacks of this machine are as follows. The previous owner told me that some gas had spilled out of a gas can onto the muffler causing the damaged right fender and trunk lid. This also damaged the right rear corner of the seat. I was going to repair the seat this summer, but I will not do that now and sell it as is. The trunk is also missing, but the previous owner did not know what had happened to it. Both rear tires have slow leaks. I have put sealant in the left rear, and I did have to put a plug in the right rear last fall in the field. The left rear tire appears pretty new while the front and right rear may be original tires. I do have a title for this machine that will go with it. It is an Illinois title as I didn't have it changed in my state after purchase. This machine has ran strong for me when I used it and always started right up for me. I am selling this machine AS IS/NO WARRANTY and all sales are final. The buyer will be asked to send a $500 deposit via paypal with the remaining balance due within 7 days of auction close. The remaining balance can be payed via cashiers check or money order. I will only sell to the 48 contiguous states and I can assist in shipping if needed, however the buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs.
