1985 300D TURBO DIESEL Runs on Veg/Diesel/Biodiesel This is a fairly well cared for 300D Turbo Diesel with 317k easy original miles. Exterior The body is in good condition, the paint is good condition with a few chips. Most of the rubber and moldings are in good condition there is a piece at the rear drivers side that has been replaced since the pictures were taken. The doors shut solidly with the distinctive Mercedes-Benz sound. The front light covers and rear lenses are in good condition and all of the lights and turn signals operate properly. The tires are in good condition with plenty of tread. The rims have been replaced since this picture with the non chrome type. Interior The interior is in very good condition. The seats are in great condition with an almost new feel. The carpet, door panels and head liner are in great condition and show almost no wear at all. The wood is in very good condition with some chips on the shift console wood, all of the gauges work. The A/C, power windows, cd player, mirrors and antenna all operate properly. Mechanical The 5 cylinder turbo diesel engine runs great, starts the first time every time and has excellent performance. The car has great acceleration and is very smooth and quite at cruising speeds. This car very comfortable and cruises at freeway speeds with very little road noise and a very solid feel. The car has recently been fully serviced including, valve adjustment, changing of all filters, oil and a fuel injection system purge. The brakes operate perfectly, have plenty of pad left on them and track straight. The transmission shifts perfectly with no slipping or hard shifts. This car looks good and drives great.
