This is truly one of the cleanest 280sel models you will find. Recently tuned, the engine fires strong and sounds like the classic Singer sewing machine the M110 engine is know for. This is the perfect enthusiast or daily driver vehicle for someone who demands quality, reliability and Mercedes integrity. The 280sel was never distributed in the US. It was primarily distributed in Europe where owners could select their personally desired options making the vehicle their own. With only 25,655 W126 280sel models distributed, the 2.8 liter V6 was made for economy and durability. While it’s no sports car, this vehicle has more than adequate ascending torque and ample top speed. Oh yeah, it cruising like no other; after all it’s Mercedes-Benz. Replaced driver side window motor. Complete valve adjustment, timing and air/fuel mixture. Rebuilt transmission Restored both front seats Upgraded CD Player with Ipod/MP3 adaptor Replace headliner including sunroof panel New visors R134 AC Conversion Foot rests New vacuum lines The list goes on and on; and on!!! I literally replaced everything on the vehicle that was age or use worn in order to make it as pristine as possible.
