Vehicle Detail

Honda Civic Del Sol 1.6L DOHC VTEC. 160 hp. This has been a family owned vehicle. It was purchased new and has a build date of February 1994. There have been two owners, my dad and myself. The interior is in excellent condition since I can control that. I'm not a smoker and no one is allowed to smoke in my car. No one eats in my car either. Both are gross. Leather seats are original and in good condition. The car has been my daily driver vehicle in Indiana so the winter months have taken a bit of a toll on the exterior. Rust can be seen next to each wheel well, near the antenna, and toward the edge and bottom of doors. Original muffler rusted off so it has been replaced by a full stainless Greddy exhaust. Over the years the car has accumulated several dings from car doors being opened into it. Check the pictures. Other modifications to the car include a AEM cold air intake with bypass valve and DC sports 4 to 1 full stainless headers. Original suspension took a beating from pot holes and has been replaced with TEIN coilovers. The car is lowered slightly, but can be raised or lowered using the TEIN coilover wrench if desired. Aftermarket radio with cassette player (oh yeah) and 6 disc changer (in trunk) has been installed. Precision power amp installed in trunk and powering a Diamond audio component speaker set in the front. Aftermarket power lock actuators have been installed with a keyless entry Viper alarm system. New spark plugs, and wires were installed myself in 2009. Car runs great and that's why I have kept it around so long. The only problems are 1) an undiagnosed battery draw problem. Battery will die in a day and a half from a full charge. Could just be the trunk light not turning off when the trunk lid is closed. The battery is about 3 years old. I really don't have time to investigate the problem further. Autozone would have diagnosed it for me, but they need a full battery charge. The second problem is a small leak from a gasket on the engine. I'm not mechanic, but it's very small and will drip down the engine and onto the ground. For those who may be wondering why I am selling the Del Sol, I recently purchased a car with more than two seats to transport my son. Now I have no need for the Del Sol and it's now taking up space on the driveway. Plus my wife can't drive manuals.
