Vehicle Detail
What I have here is a rare original survivor. A 1975 Chevy Cosworth Twin Cam Vega It has the in-line 4 cylinder, 16 valve 122 cubic inch fuel injection high RPM's Cosworth engine. This particular car has a 4-speed manual transmission standard in 75 with 3:73 gears posi track. Chevrolet produced these modified Cosworth Vegas in 1975 and 1976 with only 3,508 produced this being car #1488. There is a plaque that notes the car number on the dash. I had all intentions on keeping this car when I first got it but after 2 years and a long decision to keep it of not I thought I would ofter it here for someone to enjoy it as I have to many toys. This cosworth is ready for the open road and waiting to be driven. The engine is dry from any oil leaks. Engine is tune and runs strong. Engine has new timing belt, water pump distributor belt, new plugs, plug wires and cap and rotor. All fluids have been change and new high and low pressure fuel lines have been installed in the pass year. Engine starts quick and has the right cold and warm idle speed. All gauges are in working order even the original clock works. All lights are in working order and still has the original power beam head lights. Has new exhaust from the header to the front of the rear axle but still carries the original muffler and twin tail pipe as it is all in good shape and didn't need replaced. Also has new pressure plate and clutch disc with just a few hundred miles on it. Nice bright trim and bumpers all in good shape. Tires have only 18,000 miles on them. The interior is nearly perfect. Door panels seats, dash pad all in good shape. The carpet is slightly faded but still shows good for it's age car carries it's original paint with a couple of spots of rust that you might not see on first walk around. Car has a few door dings here and there. Has a light dent in the drivers door which is an easy fix and a little bit of a dent in the left 1/4 panel see pictures. A rare car like this is price to sell. Just turn key and make your dreams come true. Car still shows good for it's age. I have show it before not a show car but a great driver. Questions if you need any other information or any pictures be sure to ask. Inspections are welcome. The car is for sale locally and if sold, the auction will be canceled. I can store the car for 30 days until pick-up can be aranged The buyer is responsible for picking up or shipping of the vechicle and Must deposite 500.00 within 24 hours after the auction. The full amount must be pay within seven days. I except paypal because it's a safe way to do business on-line. Good Luck!!!!!
