This is probably the nicest 1965 Morris Mini around. South African mini, with Right Hand Drive & Wet (hydrolastic) suspension. RARE to see a South African mini, even rarer in this condition! Historical! This car has been completely rebuilt within the past 12 months, with less than 300 miles on rebuilt engine! Odometer reading is NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE. This not a tarted up mini! No fiberglass! All ORIGINAL, BMC Steel body! Needs nothing... Fly and Drive! Look at it and you see that NOTHING Needs to be done! No hesitation, no issues, other than a slight rust starting on right panel behind wheel (See first picture below). An easy fix! Worth every penny. No trades. Selling due to lack of space. (Went to the Palm Beach Auto Auction last Saturday and overbought!)Among other things.... Mirrors completely removed as originally came from factory (saved if you want them) and a "overtake" mirror added on driver (Right) side. Undercarriage stripped to bare metal, primed, painted and undercoated. Suspension completely redone, caster adjustors added. Front Hydro-lastic bag replaced, replumbed,Interior completely redone; new carpet, seats, panels to emulate Cooper interior, with highest quality leather-like vinyl.1275cc upgraded Engine was dissembled & fully rebuilt with everything replaced or reconditioned as appropriate.Transmission was rebuilt and any worn parts replaced. Engine/ manual Transmission repainted to original. Carb was replaced with original type (not dual carbs) and 123 Electronic distributor added (along with splash shield). New ignition wires, plugs, etc.Steering wheel refinished to original. Center M original. Speedo sits where it should on a Cooper. AM/FM 8-track player (60's era) added under-dash in location it would have originally. Monte Carlo Locking Gas CapAll door, trunk, gas cap locks workRuns on 10" mini-life wheels. Original accessory Extenders on all switches. Retro fitted with 3 point seat belts front, lap belts back. Period roof rack & fog/driving lamps (switches hidden under dash) included!New Spare tire with matching mini-life rim! Also, it is a 46 year old car & will not drive as nicely as a 2012 Porsche 911 but it will drive better than most any other Classic Mini around!
