Vehicle Detail
This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION, it sells to the highest bidder. Please bid only if you have the funds avalible and make payment in full within 4 days of auction end. 1968 FURY III in amazing origional condition - this is definatly show quality material in its current origional unrestored conditon. The car is as clean underneath as you would expect it to be. I will be adding pictures of the underside and trunk shortly. The odometer reads 41k miles but unfortunatly there is no official documentation to prove this as the car has always been maintained by its owner. The car has been stored for the last 8 years in warm dry storage until 5 weeks ago. It is extremely straignt and well preserved origional body. Pictures just dont do justice! This Plymouth is very rare special order (tag is under the hood) 2 door no post Plymouth Fury III. It has a 440 c.i. motor with 727 Torque Flight trans mission and a 8.75 Posi rear axle. It has air conditioning (currently needs charge), dark green bucket seats, center console with tach, power steering and power brakes and more in simply amazing origional condition. It has a few engine modifications: Edlebrock intake and carb, Malory igition, Accell super coil, direct connet fan. It starts up on the first turn and idles excellent. It does not smoke or leak any fluids. Brakes have been flushed, new wheel cylinders all around and new pads installed front and rear also. Body is in in exceptional condition with origional paint, yes origional paint. No rust or repair or funny business ever. Mechanically starts, runs, accelerates, drives and stops good with no issues. The suspension is tight and smooth and shifts with no issues as expected. All the origional tags are under the hood. I have about 115 pictures uploaded to view publically here: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2116692&id=1411395598#!/photo.php?fbid=1923089722886&set=a.1923051121921.2116692.1411395598&theater Faults: Tires are new in regards to tread depth but will need to be replaced from sitting. Washer bottle broken, front bumper dented and a couple dings in the hood, Driver mirror is broken off (fabbed it back together but not in the photos). Tires have some cracks, tach radio and heater is inop from storage (have not even attempted to repair), power antenna is replaced with a stock standard antena, rip in drivers seat, no air cleaner, i think that is it. These are all minor issues in my opinion...kinda like a couple scars on a Playboy Bunny. Gets tons of "thumbs up" attention everywhere from all types of people. These pics just do not do justice. This is the real deal classic origional NO RUST Mopar. Feel free to call me at 248.890.2504 Please ask all questions! Again this is a NO RESERVE auction, please only bid if you have funds to pay for the Fury within 5-7 days of auction end. I am listing this for a friend and I have been 100% honest in this listing per his discription to the best of all our knowledge, I take ebay and my rating as a seller very seriously, please do the same. On Mar-25-11 at 18:35:21 PDT, seller added the following information: The 440 is not stock. It has been built internally to scream but the owner put a mild cam in it taming it significantly for the street. It's still Damn fast. There is no build sheet of the internal components unfortunatly. On Mar-25-11 at 18:42:23 PDT, seller added the following information: The Fury is a little raised in the rear...my driveway has a slope to it so it appears level in pictures but it does have a sinister looking stance to it on the street. I will ad a link to some more pictures of it on level ground.
