Up for auction is my 88 Monte SS, a little history on the car I bought it in southern IN. where it was sold new I got it from second owner, this car has spent most of its life inside and is in excellent condition. This car is loaded, it has ps,pb,pwr windows,pwr locks,tilt,cruise,ac pwr trunk, & floor shift and it all WORKS! The ac may need alittle charge but worked last fall. The worst part of the car is the paint, it does have some chipping and cracking. The body is rock solid, there is NO RUST on this car, my guess is it has never seen salt. The interior is near perfect, with no cracks in the dash no torn seats, nothing broke or missing. Idid replace headliner. The hinge on the console lid is broke, these can still be bought. All gauges work, everything works like it should. Since I got the car I have replaced fuel pump, starter, rebuilt carb and tuned up, and had new headliner installed. This car is an all original, unmolested MonteSS, which is a rare find anymore. It still has the factory 305 and 200R4 trans 3.73 rears. The eng still runs good, no smoke or noises, carries good oil psi, the trans has good firm shifts with no slipping. I have owned the car since 07 just drove it around on nice days as fun cruiser, this car rides,drives,and feels like a new one. The car does not have any rattles, wind noise, or anything you might expect from a 23 year old car, its not been tore up and ragged out like alot these cars have been. You can buy this car repaint it and have a beautiful original collectible car, or paint it any color you want put healthy motor in it and tear up the roads in a truly awsome muscle car, one of the last ones produced.
