Hello, I am listing my 1994 Camaro Z28. I've had it about 4 years now. I am selling it because i recently found out i am going to be a father, and i have no use for it anymore. It was my summer/fun car but i havent driven it but a few thousand miles this past year since i have 2 other cars and a truck. Bidders with less than 5 feedback email me before bidding or your bid will be canceled. I am not interested in any trades. I also have this for sale locally, i reserve the right to end this auction at any time. The car runs great! It has never had a drop of any oil other than Mobile 1 synthetic 10w30 and a mobile, wix, napa gold, or K&N filter on it since it was new. It never uses any oil. Oil gets changed every 4,000 miles. The transmission is from a 1993 Z28, so it is geared lower. It has 3.73s in it now but with the 93 transmisison it is like a 94+ transmission and 4:10s. Here is a list of everything on the car that i can remember i am sure there is more. LT4 intake (machined for LT1 fuel rail a genuine grandsport casting number, not later casting) Throttle body air foil PCMforless computer tune for all modifications 160 Hypertech thermostat Moroso Cold air intake Edelbrock shorty headers Borla full exhaust, Ypipe, high flow cat, and catback Lowered 2" not sure the brand of springs Sphon lower control arms and adjustable panhard bar 4pt bolt in roll cage (center bar is removable for back seat access) 99 LED Camaro SS spoiler (with relay mod to turn brake light off) Moitive 3.73 gears Strut Tower bar Chrome C5 wheels 245x17 up from 275x17 on rear Drilled and Slotted rotors Hurst shifter under drive pulley Suede door panels and suede headliner VFN fiberglass hood ground effects kit, i think it's an RS kit I'm sure I'm missing some things. The car does not have AC anymore. I removed it last summer when the compressor started making noise. I do have everything to reinstall it. I never used the AC since it had t-tops and was my cruising car so i didnt bother replacing the compressor. It has a Doorman AC delete pulley correctly drilled and shimmed (the washers are supposed to be there). the car takes a 6 rib 53.5" belt which is new also should you need to replace it.The car does have an under drive pulley. The brake pads and rotors are about a year old. It was just aligned last year when it put new outer tie-rods on it. The front tires have maybe 2,000 miles on them, the rear tires maybe 4,000. they are both Sumitomo tires, 245s up front, 275s in rear. The radiator is about 4 years old, as well as the opti spark. The plugs are a year old NGKTr55s. The wires are Taylor 8mm i believe. I have fixed them in a couple places they were burned and installed head sheilds where necessary. I was going to install a thunder racing over the valve cover wire kit when i did the plugs this year. It also has 2 new o2 sensors, maybe a year old. has a new ECT 3 years ago. New fuel filter 2 years ago. Transmission and rear end oils were replaced then too. There are a few things i'd like to mention about it. It does have ghost flames from the hood and front fenders. They are very well done. In the pictures there is not paint missing on the hood, its just dirt. As you can see in the pics the paint has been damaged in the normal wear and tear places and the lower valance was cracked and a friend tried to touch it up. There are a few other spots where the paint is blemished as well, i'm sure i missed a small one in the pictures i took. The carpet was replaced 3 years ago, the interior was originally tan. The previous owner painted the panels flat black which was great until it started wearing at the door jams as pictured. i could easily be repainted. the passenger window is also slow going up or down. Sometime it stops going up or down and i wait a minute or so and it finishes going up. New window motors are like $60 for a pair That was on my spring to do list. It has a JVC MP3 cd player and a Blaupunkt Sirius Sattelite radio installed which will be deactivated once the car is sold. The console lid is broke, and the vents on the defroster are cracked. a small piece of the corner of the dashtop is misssing on the passenger side too. There's a tiny moth inside of the gauge cluster, i'm not taking it apart to get it out. The cigarette outlet isnt attached its just laying inside so the cord for the sirius wasnt constantly hanging around the shfiter. The wheels also arent in the best condition the chrome is chipping in a few places i included a pic of the worst wheel. this is the driver side rear wheel. It also has a slow leak around the rim where a chrome piece was flaked when they installed the new tire. It takes about a week to go down if not driven. I give it a squirt of fix a flat and drive it and it as long as you drive it once a week it wont lose any air. I let it go flat the past month or so and put a little too much fix a flat in it, you can feel a slight wobble but it'll go away. It's definately the driver side rear tire so dont waste your time thinking there's a drivetrain vibration, it's the driverside rear tire, you can feel it above 55mph. I meant to go get the tire removed and clean the inside of the tire to get the fixaflat out but never got around to it. I wanted to put black Zr1 rims on it this summer so i was never too worried about it. The engine runs great. You can hear some rockers, but every LT1 and even LS1 I've ever had made valvetrain noise. It has as long as i've had it too. I replaced the transmission fluid with mobile 1 ATF which when cold if you shift really fast into 3rd you can feel a slight grind. I hardly ever drive the car hard and definately not when cold so i never bothered changing it, Mobile 1 ATF is what i run in the T56 in my 68 bird and the MN12 T56 i had in my Z06, it's my preferred fluid. You can switch it to synchromesh if you want, it will probably make it go away. Also with the hurst short shifter it's more difficult to get it into reverse like all T56s. If you have any trouble with it go from 6th to reverse i find it goes right in. The rear has 75w90 Mobile 1 with GM LSD additive. Also in the picture of the engine there are two bolts missing from the radiator support. I never noticed it until i took these pictures, these will be reinstalled before auction ends, not sure why they were missing. Sorry its dirty, i pressure washed my truck off next to the car and didnt realize how much mud leaked through the side of the hood. Hot idle oil pressure is 20-22psi. hot cruising is 40-42psi oil pressure. I think cold idle was around 60psi. The car is tagged until 12/11. For those who know how much the Opti-spark hates water, i really have only had problems with the hood letting water in twice in the 4 years ive had it. Once was during a monsoon rain while dirving on the highway the engine missed a couple times maybe 10 seconds because im assuming water got to the opti from the functional hood scoop. The other time was after a night of heavy rain i went to start it and it missed for about 30 seconds until it warmed up a little and evaporated the water i guess. the t-tops dont leak in the rain that i have noticed, i did notice the passenger t-top leaked where it met the window during the high pressure rinse of the automated wash but ive never seen it leak from just rain. It's a great car but we are building our house and expecting our baby in November so i am going to be selling a few things i no longer need. Dont get me wrong i really like this car, but i also have a 68 Firebird with LS1/T56 i built so i really only need one weeked/summer car. Any questions feel free to email me at Shawnmacananny@gmail.com. you're welcome to come see it in person and test drive it (within reason, no burn outs, or 120mph runs) Thanks for looking!
