this listing is for a nice 1979 british green mgb two door convertible. my wife and i purchased it and began to restore it but now need to make room for our daughters used truck that she was given to her by her grandparents as her first car. the mgb was originally from califonia and has no rust. it has new carpet that we installed and the seats we had professionally redone as well. it has an overdrive transmission which i saw someone listed as "rare" but i believe it was standard for 1979 mgb's, but im not sure. it has a new top and new tonneu top. it has the original jack and a good spare. it runs strong and the overdrive works great. i replaced the brakes, plugs, wires, distributor cap, and rotor just last year and also did an oil change and filter. all the gauges work but the clocks' second hand moves but the other hands dont.(so the clock is right twice a day) it has good oil pressure and appears to be the original motor so i am guessing that the 63k milage is correct. it comes with a box of extra parts that was given to me when we bought it (hence the brake job i did), and i also connected a trickle charger to the battery that i will include as well. it has a small chip in the paint on the passenger side rear fender and also near the driverside mirror. see pics. thanks for looking and good luck. any questions please send me an email
