THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! This auction is for a sweet, clean, 1978 Honda XL125 with very low miles! Only 2763 miles! This bike is used, but not abused. It has been stored indoors, starts easily on the first or second kick and runs great. It is powered by a 125cc four stroke with five speed transmission. This bike is very smooth and fun. Everything works - even the turn signals and horn! First, the good points. Brakes, transmission, switches, starter and controls all work well. Odometer reset knob is still there and works. The following are new: battery, spark plug and fresh motor oil. The only nits that I see are: there is a dent on the top of the gas tank (see photos) which is in great condition internally, there are a few scratches and blems here and there (and some decal damage), both side covers have been repaired and one is missing the lower tab but they both stay on the bike just fine. Tires have lots of tread but appear a little hard and may need replacing down the road. This bike even comes with the original owners manual! We try to accurately describe the shortcomings, but look at the photos and ask questions before bidding. Don’t bid if you intend to negotiate afterward; that is not how eBay works. This little beauty would make a great pit bike, a nice commuter (it is street legal and gets 60 - 70 mpg or more, according to the specs!!) or a super present for a little enthusiast or a great beginner bike for anyone! It is ready to go, easy to ride (low seat height and easy controls). It’s a true blast from the past. There was no title with this bike when I got it, but I can provide a Bill of Sale if you want one - it has been out of the Calif. DMV system since 1983 so it would be treated as a new registration with no back taxes in Calif. There aren’t a lot of these around anymore, so don’t miss your chance to own one!
