1971 Ford Mustang Convertible with original interior, low 136K original miles, and only one repaint ever. Zero-rust California car with blue license plates. The engine and transmission are performance built and in excellent running condition; nothing radical, but the car does tend to chirp second gear upon acceleration. This Mustang sounds and feels healthy, not stock. The car shows every indication of being an original "old man's" car, with clean original interior and a solid body, which someone more recently installed performance running gear into. The rebuilt 302 block may be original, maybe not; and I would say the transmission has a shift kit in it. The wheel combination fits the car well. At first I thought the paint was all-original, but upon closer inspection I think it has been repainted one time, the original color (a light ice-blue, almost white). No signs anywhere of major collisions or rust. The top has some wear, as does the original interior; but all-in-all this is a very presentable car ready for daily use. It runs strong, drives solid and comfortably, as one would expect for a low-mile car.
