1980 Honda XL-500 S in fantastic original condition. This is a true very low mileage survivor in near showroom cond. showing minimal wear. Everything is factory stock, including the tool kit and original ign. key. The bike has the automatic compression release and starts with little effort. Instruments, switches, cables, along with all other lighting are like new and operate as should. Even the turn signals show no scuffs or wear. The seat is perfect. Original Trail Wing tires. This bike starts with one or two kicks, idles and accelerates flawlessly. It has that nice quiet thumper exhaust note from the factory exhaust. The bike has massive torque, shifts smoothly, handles and rides as new. A thrill to ride and appreciate. The bike is always stored indoors. I have a small collection of vintage bikes.
