Vehicle Detail

Body Exterior: Excellent condition Paint is shiny with no rust, drips, or runs Windows have been tinted and all have the original serial number Small crack on driver’s side bumper, hard to tell unless you’re on your knees Interior: Tan and black interior in excellent condition. No tears or rips in seats what so ever. Floor mats are new Black. Custom mounted Autometer gauge in dash. Climate control system works perfectly Engine: The engine is original and stock. The engine does not tick or knock. Car has a boost controller running at 10 psi. Custom TIG welded Intake tube (the rubber originals crack very often). Idles at the correct 900 RPM. Does not use oil. Blows a little smoke at startup until the engine warms up. Likely worn valve seals or o-rings on the jet valves. Does not blow white smoke. Does not over overheat what so ever, and all fans work correctly and haven’t been “rigged to stay on”. Radiator has been re-cored at a local shop. Temperature stays below halfway point while driving. Oil pressure is always above halfway point. Some engine components have been painted red but can be easily painted back to stock. Turbo has be replaced with a 14g rebuilt unit and pulls a little harder than the stock 12a. This car passed Houston’s strict emissions laws and has current certification. Maintenance: (done within the last 5,000-6,000 miles) Two cleaned and tested fuel injectors (big ticket item on these cars). New fuel pressure regulator. New gates drive belts. New alternator. MSD Magnecor plug wires. New spark plugs. New Accel ignition coil. New temperature sensors from Mitsubishi (more than one on these cars). New silicon vacuum hoses. Rebuilt Distributor. New gas filters (again more than one on these cars). Chassis: (done within the last 6,000 miles). New suspension technology springs at all four corners, lowers car about an inch. New Tokico struts. New suspension technology sway bars front and rear. New front strut mounts. New lower ball joints. New tie-rod ends. New idler arm. There is about ¾ inch free play in the steering system. Custom made 6061 aluminum strut tower braces. Centerline “Starlite” forged aluminum rims front and rear. Dunlop tires all the way around with plenty of life left. New front slotted rotors and new bearings. Remanufactured calipers front and rear. Painted with high temperature red paint by DuPont. New master cylinder and brake booster. The car has a small power steering leak. It is most likely the return line. Transmission: New stock style clutch. New clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder. New universal joints. Gear box has a “Bill the shifter Guy” short throw shifter. Gear box is supposedly stronger than previous years of production. When cold the gear box can seem to be a bit “notchy” when shifting. Electrical System: All electrical components of the car work normally. Radio is a Sony unit but is very tasteful and fits right at home. Original units can be found on E-Bay quite often. Headlights are Hella 80/130 watts. Description: I bought this car from an older gentleman a few years back. He preformed some of the items above before I started working on the car. This is a great car that has been taken care of and not ragged on. This is not a daily driver car and only used on weekends where it has been pampered. I have never taken this car to a racetrack of any kind. The engine pulls hard and smooth with no bucking or jerking. The car is tight and holds the road better than it did when it came from the factory. The money and time put into this car is hard to add up and I guarantee the winner will come out on top. I am being very honest with the good and bad things with the car. These cars are amazing to drive and I want the car to find a good home where it will be appreciated. This car is a time capsule for an enthusiast and a great car for someone looking for a fast coupe. I have tried to describe this car as accurately as possible. Please bid with confidence and good luck to the winner. Please keep in mind that this car is old and being sold as is with no expressed or implied warranty. Winner is responsible for shipping but I will help in any way possible. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Terms of Sale: There is no expressed or implied warranty. The car is being sold as is. Winning bidder is to contact me within 24 hours of the sale. A non refundable deposit of $500 is due within 48 hours and final payment is due within seven days. If no contact is made in 48 hours I reserve the right to relist the vehicle. Bids from bidders with excessively poor feedback will not be accepted. Please do not bid if you do not have the means to follow through.
