This is my personal 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab SLT. It has the sport package which includes color matched front and rear bumper covers instead of the generic ones with the chrome. The truck has 111k miles on it and it runs good. Engine runs smooth, never had a check engine light in its life. Transmission is 5 speed manual. It shifts as a truck like this is supposed to shift. Four wheel drive is a problem...... about a year and a half ago the front drive shaft to the front axle fell off while i was driving. The universal failed after just being replaced for inspection. Never fixed it but did get another drive shaft which goes with the truck.... still will need new universal joint for drive shaft. Truck runs fine without shaft but does not have four wheel drive. Pennsylvania inspection is good until 10/11. Upper and lower ball joints were replaced for inspection a year and a half ago along with the universal joints at the front wheels. These were done at around 103k miles so they are all less than 10k old. Brakes and tires are good, 17 inch alloy wheels are in decent shape. Interior has a small hole about the size of a quarter on the drivers seat, floor in the rear has a stain from some sort of sealer. Rear floor cup holder is missing. Overall condition of interior is average, could use a detailing. Power defrosting mirrors, CD/AM/FM/casette player, stock Infinity sound system, power drivers seat, power adjustable pedals, power locks, power windows, and tempature/economy display all work as they are supposed to. Back seats fold up for extra storage space. Back seats are in pretty good condition. A/C blows very cold during the summer and heat blows hot during the winter. Now the exterior of the truck. Pictures should sum it up but I will do my best to explain all the defects. Bed has rust about the passengers side wheel well from tapping the wheel well back into place a while back. Above that wheel well is a shallow dent about the size of a softball with no significant paint damage. Rear bumper has some bruises and the passengers side corner is bent out a little bit. Tail gate has many dents, some noticable scratches and shows use.... probably best replaced. Drivers side front door has a small but noticable scratch about 18 inches long under the 2500 logo. Front bumper cover has pushed many things and is cracked and badly marked up..... would look best if replaced. Other than that the truck isn't too bad. Would make a great work truck or could be brought back to a very nice looking truck with a couple of weekends and some elbow grease. Truck is located in Boyertown PA. Please look at the truck in person before you bid if you are unsure of anything. This is an eight year old truck with over a hundred thousand miles. I drive this truck 450 miles once every couple months and feel very comfortable with its reliablility and would not be scared to drive it anywhere.
