Vehicle Detail

I am selling my beautiful 1998 Corvette Coupe. I am the 2nd owner of this vehicle. It has been kept in a heated and aired garage. I have never had it in the rain or snow. Stays inside in the winter. It put new tires on it and they have a few thousand miles on them. I just bought new 2004 Z06 wheels for it and they are very nice wheels. Over $1300 invested just in those. Tires cost around the same for no flat tires. It has been serviced and kept in pristine condition. Interior is almost perfect in every part of the car - color is Pewter Leather. Floor mat protectors are on the carpet mats that are perfect. Seats are almost perfect leather. Drivers seat has a very slight worn spot that was there when I bought it. If I didn't tell you this, it would be hard to see it. Rear cargo area is perfect and houses a factory 10 CD Player that I have never used. Vette also comes with a glass top, in addition to the coupe top. I have the build sheet, window sticker and factory showroom literature for this car. Also included is a spec sheet that I ordered from the National Corvette Museum. Car built number is 16,306 of 31,084 made for \this year. 19,235 were coupes. It is a 4 speed automatic with the 5.7 liter sfi - V8 engine. Has CD player and the extra 10 player in rear. Has cargo net, memory package, performance axle ratio, fog lamps, 6 way passenger power seats. adjustable sport leather buckets, traction control system and so many other options that are listed on sticker. On highway I get around 25 miles to the gallon and city that varies to 17 miles. It runs on regular gas. It is a pleasure to drive and will get up an fly when needed. It has excellent handling and I will really miss this car. It is a looker and gets attention. Have even won a few awards in local shows. It was in Vette Vues Magazine a few years ago with my husbands 1965 - they wrote a little story on it. It will leave my husbands 65 in the dust, because it takes off so fast. My husband does not like to admit it about its power - as he favors the old ones. Stereo system is excellent with Bose speakers. The paint is Sebring Silver on the outside and I must say it is perfect, including the rear wheel areas and front sides. It came with a mark on the extra tag area in front that has been there since I bought it. It came with the glass top and we bought a hardtop for it and had it painted factory color. I have touch up paint for it and handbook for glove box on this car. It has a racing stripe in red on the drivers front bumper side. This can come off with no problem - if you do not want this. Makes the car stand out a little bit. I have taken very good care of this car and have been proud to drive it. It has been serviced at the local Chevrolet dealer and a corvette specialist that was in Knoxville. It had new brakes put on it a few years ago, but has not been driven very much to make a difference for those. ANy questions please call me Sheila @865-654-9990 and hopefully I can answer them for you.On Mar-16-11 at 16:24:24 PDT, seller added the following information:I just did a carfax on my car and found that I am the third owner and have owned it longer than anyone - which is 6 years and 2 months. I know I bought it from a friend of ours who is a car dealer in SC. I cannot tell from this report if that was him. I will fax this carfax to a potential buyer of this vehicle to save them the money to order this. Vehicle was serviced more than was listed as I took it to a private corvette specialist in Knoxville who did a few oil changes for me, brakes and tune up. He was very good and sure knew these cars, had several himself. He closed his place, so I took it to our local Chevrolet dealer. Kelly Blue Book value for this car from private owner in it's current condition is Excellent: $18,195, Good Condition: $17,545 and Fair Condition: $16,470.On Mar-19-11 at 16:00:17 PDT, seller added the following information:Someone asked this question - crazy but I will answer it. The spots in the driveway are from me washing my van and then I moved it to take pictures of this car it left water spots. It is water not oil. If I had a car leaking that much I would be in big trouble. All of our vehicles have been serviced every three thousand miles without fail. This vehicle has been well cared for and serviced beyond what it said for oil changes, etc. Please be assured it is in excellent condition. I am 64 years old and not a maniac driver. I won't even take this car to a shopping center in fear someone will hit the sides. You feel good when you have a nice looking car and do not want anyone to screw it up. Thanks for all the inquiries.
