1969 Ford Thunderbird This car is in good condition for it's age. it does have the typical rust around the lower rear quarter panels, but other than that it is pretty much rust free. The vinyl top was removed because it was peeling badly, but surprisingly there was no rust underneath. Speedometer says 71,000 miles but may be more, PA title states "exempt" so no guarantee on actual miles. Hood, top, doors, front fenders, inner fenders, are all rust free! It runs and drives but really does need a carb rebuild. Our mechanic did do a tuneup and also checked the compression. It is good in all cylinders and does not smoke or knock. Brakes and exhaust are good. The interior is in fantastic shape less the drivers seat which has separated in the center seems. Also the head liner is separating at some of the seems. But beyond that everything is in excellent shape. No tears or rips in the seats or dash. The console is also in great shape. The power actuated headlight open and close well, which was a need feature on these cars. I would not drive it without replacing the carb and a fresh tank of gas. It has been sitting for quite a longtime. This car is priced to sell at a reasonable price. It will probably sell for less than what the engine alone is worth. Car is being sold "AS IS" due to it's age. And buyer is responsible for shipping. The car must be moved within 10 days of auction close due to loosing the lease on the lot it is currently on. $500 minimum deposit is due at auction end, and balance due within 3 days of auction end.
