Up for sale is a Jeep Cherokee Chief 1979. Jeep is in driving condition. It has what appears to be the original engine, trans, and transfer case. They are the AMC 360 V-8, T18A 4 speed manual transmission with granny low, and the dana 20 transfer case. I was told by the previous owner that the original axles were replaced. The axles appear to be a dana 44 front with a dana 60 rear. Tires are 38.5 TLS with less than 500 miles on them. Gear ratio is 410. The interior is perfect including rear electric window! The truck runs and drives well after it is warmed up. I bought this truck as a fun/mud truck and never really got to use it because I changed job soon after buying it. I have not drove it much until my daily driver was having problems last month. It drove great for the 2 weeks I had to use it for. Goes 60-65 (estimate) down the highway fine. It is a great truck but I need to sell because I do not have time to play with it because of my new job.
