Vehicle Detail

Here we go guys, I am listing my 1973 CB750. This bike has been taken out a few times every year since new so it's never had any carb gumming or engine issues what so ever. It is 100% original with the exception of the rear shocks that were changed to progressive suspension a number of years back. The bike is in mechanically excellent condition. Everything works as it should. Starts, runs, idles, shifts and operates as well as it did 38 years ago. The fuel tank is clean inside and out with only a small ding as noted in the pictures. The exhaust is original with NO rust with the exception of some surface spots that all seem to polish out. The wheels are mint with no rust. All the other chrome on the bike also is in very nice shape. The seat is in very nice shape with only one crack on the side thats so small you may not be able to see it in the picture. I guess the only bad thing is I am missing the left side cover.[Imagine that! Someone must have needed it more than me]. I think even the grips are original and in mint condition. Truly guys, this bike needs nothing to ride. One thing I have noticed is that the tank has the same paint scheme as the 72's. I've been told being the build date of the bike was 8/72 it could have been sold and titled either way. It also has the strap type mounted gauges that were also found on all 72 and earlier cb's. Either way this is a great bike that could either be ridden as is or make someone an easy restoration. I have taken all pics. outside to show as much detail as possible. If you note I have included some shots of the gauges while its running. With that all said, keep in mind this bike is 38 years old and is not going to show like it just rolled off the assembly line but it is a very very nice classic bike. The winning bidder will be responsible for all shipping costs. I will ship the motorcycle to kingdom come as long as I've been paid and the buyer has arranged the shipping. I will also include a new set of rear brake shoes[not that it needs them] and an extra oil filter as I will have no use for them. Feel free to ask any questions you may have and I'll do my best to answer all of them. Bid with confidence everyone and good luck.On Mar-17-11 at 07:50:01 PDT, seller added the following information: honda cb 750On Mar-17-11 at 15:30:53 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been informed by a fellow ebayer that the bike is a 1972 k2 cb750 titled as a 1973. That explains the tank and strap style gauges. Thanks all for looking!
