Vehicle Detail
This is a rare 1986, Maserati, Bi Turbo, Spyder convertible with tan leather interior and burl wood trim dash. The miles we believe to be actual at 55,178. It has stock wheels and center caps, stock motor and interior, all the decals and emblems are stock and in good order. The body is clean and straight and the paint is nice. It is an eye catching red with black convertible top and tan leather interior. The interior is in good condition, we are having it detailed this week. The carpet kit is stock and in good condition. The trunk has stock jack in the case and the shocks hold the back deck lid up well. The bumpers, lights, lenses are all in good order. The stock owners manual is in the glove box. The tires are in good condition. The motor is stock, 6 cylinder. The dash clock is stock Maserati, everything is with the exception of a Kenwood CD player was installed in place of the stock stereo. It has an automatic transmission, that shifts well, this runs and drives the issue is that the fan relay needs to be replaced so it is not cooling, it has not been overheated, runs, drives. This is a rare car. The black converitible top is in overall good condition with a couple of small tears at the top of the drivers door. The black with rich red is a beautiful color combination. The body is clean and straight and the paint is good it looks like there may have been a repair at the front inner wheel fender. This is a wonderful find. Good luck bidding. Produced from 1986 to 1989. It's the one that everyone calls a 'Biturbo'. This model was the first to be imported into the UK in any quantity. Power steering with the elliptical fascia and the Lassale clock. Cam covers painted in crackle black and the car was available with an automatic gearbox. Different 6J wheels from the original Biturbo and along with the 425, the first car to use the 2.5-litre 3-valve twin-cam engine producing 192bhp. If you have any questions, please feel free to email, call or this is available for inspection. This is being offered by Peggy's Classic Cars, Oregon DL 4765.
